A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Brown University, Steven A. Fern, M.D., F.A.C.S. went on to Cornell University Medical College.  Dr. Fern completed his Post-Doctoral training as a Resident at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Long Island Plastic Surgical Group and the Baylor College of Medicine.   He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  Dr. Fern is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and holds the following licensures:

• New York State Medical License
• Connecticut State Medical License
• National Board of Medical Examiners
• Advanced Trauma, Advanced Cardiac and Basic Life Support
• Laser Skin Resurfacing

Currently, Dr. Fern is in private practice in Manhattan as well as in Greenwich, Connecticut.  He is on staff at Greenwich Hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.  In addition to his clinical appointments, Dr. Fern maintains memberships in several professional societies, including:

• American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (Candidate)
• Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons

Dr. Fern's research interests include Cosmetic Surgery, Facial Rejuvenation, Breast and Body Contouring, Soft Tissue Fillers/Injectables, Facial/Body Asymmetries, Hand Rejuvenation, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and Dupuytren's Disease.
